Methodologies

The primary goal of the project is to create methodical instructions for the documentation, conservation, and restoration of musical instruments, which will provide expert support to institutions and individuals with regard to the correct assessment, documentation, and preservation of musical instruments, and also the correct handling of musical instruments.

An overview of how the project works with regard to the aforesaid formulation of methodologies was presented at the conference “Making wooden musical instruments: an integration of different forms of knowledge” in Barcelona on 7–9 September 2016. You can find the presentation poster here.
